@OsirisSaline My biggest annoyance is that emoji have risen to common use without any of the interfaces that facilitate their use doing anything to facilitate the _reading_ of them.
Seriously, why can't I long-press or cursor-hover to get a popup with a large, clearly visible version of the image and at least the corresponding Unicode name(s)? How is it that _nobody_ is implementing this or similar?
It's a usability clusterfuck.

me: one thing i really love about #linux and #FLOSS in general is that it really helps you learn about your machine, you know? you get to learn all sorts of things about how machines run!

@tophat no, but while movement sometimes makes them stay in better, which is great, SOMETIMES it breaks the seal – which is not that big of a deal usually, but I'd rather not try it in water, which is great for making very little leaked bloody stuff look like a lot.

So today I got misgendered by an algorithm and I kind of missed the avocado and cut myself in between the fingers BUT later I'll go check out some lake/pond/water thingie that I don't know yet and that is so exciting! Water is the best!!
