Update, "Storm Season" turned out to be a really nice book that I enjoyed a lot even though it's not a genre that usually works for me. Everyone is queer and I wanted them all to be happy, which kind of happened.

I went and liked some negative reviews of The Magicians on Goodreads, now I feel better

@mona @kara_dreamer I like it because its short, and I mean my guesses went into the right direction, I just thought the word had a confusingly different tone to it than it actually seems to have.

@Maenad I listened to music instead because my current book is a bit boring, but it was, indeed, good :3 sadly the park where I went to watch fish & turtles closes in the evening & I had to go, but it was still nice :)

it's just that… their sizing system places me between L and XL… x)

and I even got someone else to retake my measurements because at first I couldn't believe that it's actually at least one whole size wrong for me, not like… half a size or something.
