thinking about dysphoria, question
Trans women who started transition a while ago, do you feel like dysphoria's distorting of your body image faded after a while? I honestly don't think I'm an unattractive person, but dysphoria is really good at convincing me there's rather manly looking parts of me when I look in the mirror. Parts I cannot find in photos or on days where my dysphoria isn't so bad. Honestly, the way it reminds me of how tenuous our perceptions are is more upsetting than the blow to my vanity.
