food

I can't really get myself to eat anything that requires any effort at all, or to do anything that I should do, or to do anything to improve my chances of doing stuff (like bullet journal). I feel very very defenseless against the passing of time lol.

I'm very lost in doing random shit, but I really have to go outside now

Oh look, this looks super promising and can be pre-ordered now (I guess this is the paper book version):

Transcendent 2 – The Year's Best Transgender Speculative Fiction
lethepressbooks.com/store/p465

Edited by the super cool Bogi Takács.

Ooh, Hubzilla looks kind of promising. I mean I knew that it existed, but I didn't really know what it was.

Does anyone have any hub recommendations? Something queer, feminist, all-the-cool-kinds-of-political? Preferably with Terms of Service that are not just a blank page? ^^

Or links to anything one should know about that whole thing?

(Also… es ist noch immer Vice-Niveau und dementsprechend kommen zB transfeindliche Formulierungen vor. Aber verhältnismäßig ziemlich gut halt.)

Friends! What's your favourite way to collect images/pictorial posts/general ~aesthetic~? (if you do)

Something like a picture-focused alternative to tumblr, I guess.

"We're having a problem sending email out of the department."

"What's the problem?" I asked.

"We can't send mail more than 500 miles," the chairman explained.

I choked on my latte. "Come again?"

"We can't send mail farther than 500 miles from here," he repeated. "A little bit more, actually. Call it 520 miles. But no farther."

Can I just say… the way that Tumblr forces community to center around ask blogs is incredibly destructive.

There is no way to communicate on an equal level. It's basically all a very public game of "can I get this mod to not yell at me if I disagree, and how much do I have to water my opinion down if I want to get reblogged so anyone except the mods and my handful of own followers ever see that I had input on that".

PMDD-related, suicidality

Huh, think I got this "thinking about suicide for 2 weeks & suddenly feeling fine when menstruation starts" a few years ago, but I don't remember if it was actually a recurrent thing, because I only remember that one time that was just super comical because it was so perfectly timed.

Now it's shifted more to like "I dread menstruation and am what-you'd-expect-depressed the week before, and only want to die 2 or 3 days during menstruation and maybe 1 or 2 days before".

Discussion about Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder; may involve suicidality, illness, depression

Let's talk PMDD! Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder, which gets dismissed a lot as "just PMS" or "moodiness" but is pretty serious. It's a severe, sometimes debilitating crash of your moods connected to your menstrual cycle, usually linked to drops in your estrogen levels. It's not very well researched & a lot of docs dismiss it out of hand.

@thefishcrow and uh everyone else who asked last month :P sorry this took forever, other articles, work, and mental health stuff took over!

I really want to read Viral Airwaves by Claudie Arsenault (claudiearseneault.com/?page_id) next, but I'm not in a reading mood right now. I'm not finishing any books I have started, and I don't really want to start reading a new book either, I just want to… have the result of reading it in my brain?

My favourite thing I ever found there is this pin, "I'm living an 'and' life in an 'either/or' world".
