Idk I like management games and rts games and I want a fusion of them, I want an rts that is always in top down battle view, units are persistent, you have to manage resources in real time, craft or buy upgrades, maybe make it a roguelite, idk

Hey what if there was a video game where you commanded like, a huge land ship/crawler trying to survive the fall of your home land on a hostile world, managing resources, stealing enemy units, and trading with neutral parties to try and eke out every second of survival. Like, somewhere like an open world survival version of homeworld deserts of kharak

@NanoRaptor i'm waiting until you model all of the insides so you can make an atomic purple version

@halley linode used to be so good before the akamai acquisition now they're even scrubbing the linode name from everywhere into "akamai cloud" and i'm going to have to plan moving a machine of 10 years to another service

i would AOSP this phone if i could but that would (i imagine) get rid of S-Pen support and unlocking my phone would make my banking apps not work

for such a premium that you pay on the S Ultra line (nb. i bought a two-generation old S22 Ultra used, two months ago, yes it took me two months to realise it has no calculator) the software is extremely extremely disappointing

my phone... doesn't have a calculator

this is easily remediated sure but i'm just reeling from the fact that Samsung thought it more important for my phone to have shipped with Facebook and their Galaxy Store than a calculator

not to mention that if you transfer from a non-Samsung phone you now have doubles for everything else - clock, phone, contacts etc all have ambiguous Samsung and Google versions, and the Google ones don't play nice on the Samsung system

my circuits keep wanting to spell it "mads milkensen" like he's made out of milk or something

re: rant about content warnings

@halley imo content warnings serve as a bandaid to the issue all major internet content platforms (which fediverse is trying to be) have: they want to be one single insular homogenic space for all of the internet population, and that will never work
