My site argylewerewolf.com is a work in progress, but it now supports light & dark modes (with a monstery flair), and WCAG-compliant colours (using named CSS colours only).

Hand-written #Elixir + #PhoenixLiveview guts, #Sass (no Tailwind!) theming, & vanilla JS for light/dark mode.

PS: hire me!

I just published my first Elixir + Phoenix LiveView package: Phoenix SVG Sprites!

Easily merge all of your SVG assets into a single file and display them individually, just like you do with <.icon />.

@Angela i've been working on a less unintelligible one

sadly does away with the speak n spell-ness of it

id love to hear your thoughts on it

she's a reclusive woman who eats the same online-ordered pizza every night, IRCing in between bouts of malware reverse engineering.

for the bulk of the film, nobody believes her when she asserts her identity, except for her jerkass ex-boyfriend.

the villain is a chaser and a catboy. he gives her a fake prostitution and drugs rap.

also, her mother doesn't recognize her as her daughter.

trans allegory.

we've mentioned this before in replies, and on the birdsite, but the 1995 Sandra Bullock film "The Net" is a trans allegory

sick thought: the vending kiosk thing in the office breakroom is just a barcode scanner (among other peripherals) connected to a Windows machine that runs the vending application fullscreen.

It has been demonstrated by someone before that there is no input sanitization to that barcode scanner and putting the EICAR test file in a QR code will cause the system's dodgy antivirus to shut it down.

can you QR-ducky one of these? like, can you put ctrl+esc or the scan code for the start key in a QR

whenever someone tells me irc is empty or forums are dead i imagine they went around doing this

it occurs to me that a large portion of the #fediverse might have my home instance computerfairi.es silenced so i figure an announcement from here might get more traction:

i've recently released #ditherinator, a tool for real-time palette-reduction and dithering of images:

maple.pet/ditherinator

i've wanted a tool like this for years and i'm glad i can share it with you now!

please post cool pictures you make with it tagged #ditherinator so i can see them!

@SArpnt those are good points!

i used to post about cool stuff more. and and . things i'm working on and things i'm building.

the bad feels posts come from those being largely ignored. rsd hurts
