oh you manually edited the config to make j-link load a bin instead? well now hang on there buckaroo i have to overwrite your config file real quick because it's automatically generated by cbuild

your project output is an axf right? righto send the axf to the j-link

what was that? the j-link exited with an error? Not my problem

i hate setting up dev environments what do you MEAN the CMSIS toolbox defaults to generating an AXF and then when you pick J-Link as a debugger it just straight up tells the J-Link to load an AXF instead of a BIN when it can't DO THAT!! i just want to have a word with whoever made the arm keil studio real quick please i promise i won't incapacitate you too permanently

she hewlett on my packard till i reverse polish notation

it's also just a good way to get a good deal on ipod because i imagine snootier collectors look down on pre engraved ones so they sell cheaper

Reading about an early 90s tech exec complaining that public schools aren't replacing their old PCs with new ones fast enough for her company's bottom line, and suggests maybe we need to get rid of public schools and replace them with private schools that can afford new PCs that use her CD-ROMs.

So no, this BS didn't start with AI.

Delphi has never changed.

If you took a Delphi developer who only knows modern Delphi, and sat them down in front of Borland Delphi for Windows running on Windows 3.1, they would be able to make hello world in about 10 seconds.

The user experience has remained fundamentally unchanged for over 30 years.

They designed a thing that worked, and it has stood the test of time.

Meanwhile, your android phone moves some button to a different place every few months, and adds three new gestures, one of which you won't discover until a year or so later.

but hey the haptics can play the wilhelm scream now

the steam controller 2026 suffers from being a steam deck with the touchscreen and the computer removed

the steam controller 2015 suffers from most customization support having been removed from the steam client

valve kneecapped two of their own pieces of hardware in one glorious fell swoop

Show thread

sincerely i cannot understand people who think the steam controller 2026 is an upgrade over the steam controller 2015

the build quality is nicer and the trackpad haptics have better hardware which are almost not used by the software and that's about it
