ideally i would like to my android tablet as a screen-tablet on my desktop but it doesn't look like a solution like that exists for windows, so for now i'm tied down to apps

and honestly this tablet was first and foremost just a replacement for my old one to watch videos in bed

interestingly enough i tried a bunch of other android apps just now and nothing so far beat autodesk sketchbook for simulacra of traditional oil paintings like this, so

i guess it's better than i expected out of a free app

decided to try to follow along to an episode of bob ross' the joy of painting with my tablet, and i'm really happy with the result, especially for being my first time trying digital painting (and using autodesk sketchbook, which probably isn't ideal for this)

i am SUPER on edge about this stuff, so i am understandably less than kind to people in the first-world i see happily boasting their vaccination cards. i'm sorry for those whose feelings i've hurt with my lashing out, but that's what colonization does to a person.

i only left the tests conducted graph in "actual" rather than "per 1M people" to make the short line easier to see. this is what it looks like in relative scale

the covid situation in brasil is extremely dire. my parents have several comorbidities & not even them are in the age group ostensibly being vaccinated by the local (not federal) government. the federal government is literally anti-vax. we've peaked almost 4k deaths a day. 3/

i have word filters for: "vaccine" "vaccinated" "pfizer" "astrazeneca" so feel free to use those words in all your covid vaccine posts so that i don't see them anymore. i can't mute "moderna" because that just means modern in portuguese and i'd rather not flag false positives 2/

very optimistically, i'm only going to be vaccinated next year. i'm glad y'all aren't going to die from covid anymore but i don't get that privilege. so i'd like to not be reminded about it, maybe. i don't think that's asking for much
