i love how extremely expensive corporate gear eventually trickles down into toys for nerds. this thing was originally ten thousand US dollars

when i opened it i made the dankpods "can you believe nobody bought this" voice

it was so cheap compared to literally any other offering that i was for sure convinced i was buying a used unit

oh and i got the keyboard mostly working again! left mouse button (which is part of the same membrane) for some reason stopped working, but now at least i don't need an external keyboard to use it! (and the single USB1.1 allows me to use my regular wireless mouse)

after you put the kettle on and let tweetdeck load for like 10 minutes or so, it's rather "usable" if you're ok blind typing into a text box that won't update until after you've already decided it's not worth sending that tweet anyway

it was going to take way too long for the text box to catch up on order to fix that typo so i just left it in

it takes a whole lot of effort and monumental paience, but yes you CAN tweet from a pentium II 366 MHz with 128 MB of RAM!
