having a real bitch of a time getting any modern IM that's not escargot to work on windows 98 even with an ssl bump proxy. miranda im is the only client i found that sorta-works on 98 and even then it doesn't really
i kinda hate that to enable older ciphers in openssl or nginx you have to recompile the whole damn thing yourself like yes i know it's less secure but between plaintext and DES-CBC3-SHA just please let me sign a waiver and set up services i can load from my windows 98 computer
