One thing I feel like is not being mentioned in the current discourse is what is defined as kink, and who does that defining. There are plenty of transphobes who define trans people dressing and presenting as our gender as being kink. And, especially with recent bills, 1/6
- "transwoman", without the space, similarly nullifies "trans" being a mere qualifier, and distances us from being regarded as real women.

- "transgendered" implies having gone through a process, or being afflicted with something. this pathologizes being transgender.
cis allies, i beg you, do not use "transgendered" or remove the space between "trans" and "woman"

look i'm not going to deny it would be a great idea to have events during pride which cater to special needs such as noise sensitivities etc
but pride, as a parade, as a riot, is rooted in sexuality. don't demand that it be made "acceptable" for those who think we're freaks
