having tried the alpha sound feature in my stereo, my opinion is that some of its modes can make music sound nice, but automatically relaxing? heh i'm not so sure

so turns out the alpha sound stuff isn't just a different EQ mode but, in true "shove it full of features" fashion, it's a kind of LFO aimed at "alpha waves" which is supposed to "make you relax just by listening to music"
