i liked halt and catch fire for the same reasons why i liked microserfs. they're both stories that talk tech, but they're not stories about the tech.

everybody i know who hated halt and catch fire expected a story about the tech.

maybe it's important to experience bad things sometimes

the guy i talked to, who worked on LEGO creator and recommended me microserfs, mentioned how delighted he was that they were basically making a real-world version of Oop! from the book

there are absolutely ranks within the furry fandom. if you're an artist, people will flock to you more. if you have no artistic ability, you need financial power to buy from those who do. if you have neither, you will be forgotten.

i crave community so bad. i'm so lonely. and i'm not allowed to have it because of hidden reasons nobody will tell me.

i tried starting my own furry community in 2017. it still kinda lingers on but for it to really have anybody active in it i had to make it less furry and more general and it hurts me so much i have basically zero connection to the furry fandom that everybody else seems to have

i would LOVE for furry to not be a closed clique cabal fandom, but it absolutely is
