@TabGames3@twitter.com @60Minutes@twitter.com Facebook provides free internet access to underserved countries, limited to sites they approve. That's where the problem comes in; misinformation is posted to Facebook and there are no sources available to research it. They have essentially handed out a propaganda platform.

“The version of Facebook that exists today is tearing our societies apart and causing ethnic violence around the world,” says former Facebook employee France Haugen. She points to Myanmar, where the military used Facebook to launch a genocide. cbsn.ws/3FdhPo4

the price is for a listing i found for one that's already been serviced and known working, battery recelled and comes with all accessories too

it's the best shape i've seen an ERS-210 for this price and i want to take them home so bad

i've found that there's a specific way i can flex the board to assure it boots but i can't for the life of me find where the bad connection is. i've reflowed everything i could think of and it'll still refuse to boot on occasion. at least it _does_ boot eventually

Show thread

to elaborate on the second one, it seemingly has a bad solder joint somewhere (it's not U28) and every time it doesn't boot i open up the bottom cover to look at the board. then i try to boot it, and it boots just fine. close it up, use it, next morning it won't boot
