how do you fix anything on a linux system when you can't access the terminal and every solution to a linux problem is a terminal command lmao

linux is never going to be a desktop operating system

every google result for a broken lightdm restarting suggests you to go to one of the ttys using ctrl-alt-f# but you can't access the ttys if lightdm keeps restarting and therefore stealing the screen away from tty

i broke my art computer because of compulsory updates :) and linux people complain about windows

gonna be real fun to try to reboot this machine and guess whether it will or it won't

pretty sure i broke stuff because ubuntu doesn't expect you to be using not bash as your shell for doing a release upgrade and there's about a hundred lines of fish errors on my terminal now because some package's post-install script tried to bash script on me
