For the record, before anyone suggests an existing personal wiki or notetaking app, yes, I've tried that, and no, it doesn't suit my needs (reasons include but are not limited to not available for Linux, no image floating, unfitting structure, electron, abandoned, requires building with an old toolkit, etc.)
