the word "lazy", mh, abuse (thread)

The word "lazy" is a weapon of manipulation. It's a tool used to illegitimize the issues of people that can't handle things as easily as "normal" people deem standard.

Miss me with the technical definition, "someone who's perfectly able and open to do something necessary, but just doesn't feel like it." It's not the subject of the discussion, and bringing it up proves you have no interest in the actual point.

Moving right along.

the word "lazy", mh, abuse (thread)

"Lazy" preys on the depressed, the neurodivergent, and the abused. "Lazy" is an accusation, spread from manipulators that want and expect a result, and wish to diminish the self-esteem of the one spoken of.

"Lazy" erases the struggles of those with difficulties functioning or performing tasks. "Lazy" is a way to blame depression on the person who's depressed.

"Lazy" is a weapon.
