I think the most powerful thing that Vy pointed out is how the messages you get from outside the trans community are so completely different and discouraging from those inside of it. Even when our stories are told by the mainstream they are always done as a tragedy, as warning. Our whole and fulfilling lives almost never see the light of day.

@Joshi I'm really feeling the "this might not even be my final form." I've been putting off dating because I don't know if my sexuality will shift. (also dating is scary, and dating sites/apps are bad).
I've mostly seen myself as bi-/pansexual but leaning towards liking girls. I've not been romantically interested in or felt attracted to men before. But recently I've had feelings for some, so I wonder what will happen when I'm on HRT.
