Good morning @Lenalia! β¨
As I was writing that last toot it occurred to me that while they are a cool cosplay thing, I can't think of any characters who have metal claws like this but it would be cool for an original costume. Which made me realise I have never seen a 'cosplay' style tutorial or showcase focusing on a non-ip character which made me sad about nerds and consumerism again
So apparently these are for kitchen protection from knives but a) there's only four in a set, implying the target audience has already had a tragic incident with a knife, b) whenever I have cut myself with a knife it has not been on the parts covered by these guards and c) I feel like costuming and cosplay would be a much better group to market these too
@libc At first I think my mom was worried that she caused me to be trans, because she had told me that story so many times π and I'm like: mom, that's not how it works
Good morning @Lenalia and happy Saturday! β¨
@libc Before I came out as trans my mom used to tell me that if I had been born a girl my name would be Sara, I liked it so that's the name i chose
In the poll I counted that as parents selected new name
