I'm so glad we finally have proof of him openly being transphobic, that being the way he refers to the representative who is a trans woman by the way (he misgendered her) and this comment.

I'll say this before everything else I'll say: I heavily support right to repair, believe me, I want our electronics and our vehicles to be repairable by anyone who is able to do so, and I also heavily support people having rights over the things they own (honestly, him calling us "consumers" is already such a capitalist thing to do).

There were already signs of his views before:

• his open support of capitalism on his videos
• his use of AI, mostly mentioned in the video about his website being ranked number one because of Gemini
• his past presence on Kiwi Farms (a problematic platform) and how he's unapologetic about it
• his FUTO company that he used to work for has given "legendary grants" for projects like Ladybird and Hyprland, which we all know that they have many controversies for their "apolitical" or borderline just right-wing views

I watched many of his videos thinking he was a good guy and, while he supports a good cause, it's bad that he does all while not really supporting minorities, because right to repair and right to own should be for EVERYONE, no one excluded.

I honestly think he should either apologise, or be de-platformed, though I don't think any of these two will happen because this controversy isn't really talked about a lot outside of the fediverse, so if you have more information or bad things that Louis did, share them all here: let's make this a Rossmann exposal thread xD
