a cantrip for the night crew,
called the deciding trick:
given two choices
between which you cannot decide,
assign one to one face of a coin
and the other to the other.
then flip;
just before the coin lands,
the choice you desire
will glow with the fear of losing it.
and if no choice becomes clear,
then let the coin decide.

I stand firm by my opinion that unit tests are extremely important because they help you understand whether your APIs are actually useful, and are not just a way to make sure they're not completely unusable
and if your API is not very easily unit-testable (e.g., requires loads of mocks and stubs to test), then it's probably not a very good one

Also Swedish politics is fucked, we got a new prime minister today because Social Democrats changed leader, but also got a right wing budget approved because the Centrist party voted for the new prime minister but against their budget.
This then then immediately led to the Environment party (the green) to leave their coalition with the Social Democrats and the new prime minister steps down just hours after being voted in.
