Another week has passed, and you are wasting your life over frivolous things like "work" and "education". These things won't enrich you.

What's stopping you from striving to really achieve? How many hours have you put into the life affirming skill of:

Standing across the road mysteriously staring at a random person, only to completely disappear as a bus passes.

A good example of systematic misogyny is the social stigma around OnlyFans that doesn't exist on PornHub.

It's ok when men are earning the money.

was watching videos about racecars and had concluded (i know very little about racecars) that a racecar is more or less an airplane that is optimized solely for landing, and must be landing as hard as it can at all times

RIAA v. Youtube-DL, but it's Kakao entertainment targeting Tachiyomi this time

On January 2nd, 2024, developer of Tachiyomi received a cease and desist letter from South Korean company Kakao entertainment, demanding the project and all its forks be destroyed.

3 years after Youtube-DL being taken down from Github by bogus complaint filed by RIAA, developer(s) of open-source tools are forced to face the hostility from copyright scumbags. And we still don't have much in hand.

Like Youtube-DL, Tachiyomi doesn't host any of the "copyrighted materials", it merely helps its users download mangas from other websites/services. Those copyright scums knows that clearly, they send these cease and desist letters not to take down "copyrighted materials", they came with the target to overwhelm the developer, since the legal fees and lawyers aren't the price what normal people are willing to pay to fight corporates, which almost surely have the best lawyers at hand.

It is not a legal battle (if it happens), it's a slaughter. Copyright laws once again protected those conglomerates and their unreasonable demand, and left indie developers' hand stranded.

Copyright only serves the villains.

We demand copyright be abolished.

Imagine a cave, where various persons are imprisoned since birth. They are chained so as to create a fixed gaze upon a wall, on which can be seen the shadows of various entities walking past outside the cave— people, horses, carts. This audience would be, by nature, highly engaged with these shadows, which we may call "content". So what if— among these shadows— we were to include advertisements?

I've no longer got a job, and I'm also kinda completely broke.

So if anyone has a few extra dollars they can donate to help me make it to my first payday, that'd be very appreciated.

sometimes i like to browse unity answers and pretend that the questions are just about life in general

think I have a path forward for this article I wanna write

was initially going to focus a bit more on the tech industry's allergy to sharing, but I really should just focus on the part that I actually wanted to write about, which is why I absolutely despise linkedin

like the other day I stopped myself from writing a long reply to this random post I got recommended, from a recruiter who was complaining about how no one was saying hello and being nice and instead responding to his cold recruiting messages with "what's the salary" or "is it remote"

like these kinds of people just see it as everyone being a noob and not knowing that hurting this poor man's feelings will reduce your capitalism high score

and not that we have a finite time on this fucking earth and cannot waste our time on people with the audacity to send messages about jobs lacking basic info
