I know it seems ridiculous but I think the main problem with the AI industry is insufficient hubris.

If you spend that much time and effort building an AI it should be less than an hour before something is on fire, several people are dead, and someone is talking about how it was wrong to tamper in God's domain.

Can't believe they spent a gigawatt training GPT3 and the fucker isn't even trying to overthrow humanity.

Look, where I come from, if you burn a gigawatt of energy to make an AI, it had better damn well go skynet on you.

I am pleasantly impressed by the feel I get from the photos made by #Mavica. Zero megapixels, warm late 90s/early 00s digital feel. It somehow managed to fit 35 photos on a single floppy, too.
