Hey! I'm still looking for a job because I need one, especially now with our car out of comission due to people breaking in and trying to steal it

Looking for some help, if anyone can:

1) look over my resume for me and tell me how it looks

2) Show me how to look into temp agency stuff, as i've heard that's the only way to get a lot of tech jobs at this point

3) Recommend me literally anything, i'm so tired

4) give me advice on how to find a fucking job in the era of ai and ghost jobs

using LaTeX is easy, all you need to know is that when Donald Knuth failed the Mark of Mastery Exam and lost his ability to wield a keyblade, his heart manifested that power into a new person: Tela Type

Tela had the power to wield the Fountain Keypen, which was mightier than any Keyblade.

However when Tela's best friend Roxe was consumed by darkness (creating the nobody Xerox and the heartless Bell), Tela fell into despair and lost her heart too, creating the nobody LaTeX and the heartless Metafont.

You first meet Metafont in *Kingdom Hearts e-ε: ligature drop descender*, although they aren't that important.

LaTeX first apprars in *Kingdom Hearts π-ε : hbox overfull*, although at that point they're called TeX.

They only become LaTeX in *Kingdom Hearts Literate:coded* where they merge with their digital replica in a simulation of TAOCP and discover the χ-macro that was hidden inside themselves by king Mickey.

It's all fun and game until your Windows-powered electronic bidet decides power wash you.

@anarceus I know this because the way mastodon and shinigami eyes work can’t really make it "federate"

For example if you mark me, the url that’s going to be marked is queer.party/@Siph@meemu.org and not meemu.org/@Siphonay. So you’ll only see me tagged from your server.

If you see someone tagged from your server, it’s somebody from that server who did it.

Shinigami Eyes is an important safety tool for queer people online. If you undermine it by making it so its users have to double-check if a person is ACTUALLY transphobic or not, you’re doing a disservice to everybody who needs it.

There’s an asshole on octodon (no real way to know who it is) abusing shinigami eyes by marking people such as Aer0h and packetcat as transphobic.

If you’re doing this you’re a piece of shit.

If you notice on your server that people are marked as transphobic just bc they’re not white and outspoken about the racism they face even if it happens to come from other queer people, please mark them as neutral or trans-friendly.

🇪🇺🔥 German MEP Daniel Freund delivered a scathing critique of Viktor Orbán, calling him the "most corrupt politician in the EU."

"Mr. Orbán, you've stolen at least €14 billion, built stadiums and palaces instead of schools and roads. No more EU funds for Hungary until the theft stops. We want our money back!"

He even called for a European arrest warrant.

I made a histogram of wealth distribution in the United States, using the Forbes 400 list that just came out. Almost the entire US population is in the red line at the left, one pixel wide. To fit Elon Musk on the graph, each pixel is $500 million wide. In other words, from the perspective of the very rich, $0 and $500 million look the same.

I've been hacking the radio in my 2013 Subaru Outback, here's what I've found so far:
- It runs on Windows CE 5.0
- The main GUI is powered by a single HUGE Adobe Flash program (ActionScript!)
- The CPU is a 32bit SuperH SH-4A architecture (SH7780) running at 500MHz
- There's a custom ASIC on board which appears to multiplex access to SDRAM?
- The Bluetooth module (CK5050+) runs Linux and is likely more powerful than the main CPU lol

I'm serious about this, btw, I think it's better to have a little code duplication sometimes

Don't Repeat Yourself is bad programming advice, Programmers can have a little code duplication as a treat

avoid repeating the same 4 lines of code twice by writing 270 lines of beautiful, abstract, generic code
