@avon_deer Donât worry, Iâm already at the point; I wanted everything that Corbyn had in his manifesto. The public response to his manifesto still gives me hope, I remember the huge turnouts and support for it, and I wonât forget how it went.
I wonât ever forget how Tufton Street is full of the worst of humanity and how they have the ear of every high ranking politician in this country.
@renbymon @avon_deer I got the impression that Corbyn was much more genuine than most other politicians; that he was basically smeared out of front-bench politics for wanting to do some good in this country is a terrible thing. We need an opposition that will actually meaningfully oppose things. (That is, until we can have a different government.)
@avon_deer We were on the right track and it was all taken away from us because those at the top want Even More Money. Renationalised companies would be demonstrable proof that neoliberalism only favours the rich, so they do anything to stop it.
On a personal level we were close to having recognition in line with other countries re trans rights, but Tufton St said no and here we are now.
I will go to my grave cursing Thatcher and every single neoliberal.
