Having a hard time finding a written guide/route notes for of (1998) Leon A; they're all like three to four hour long video guides. I suspect the discords have written guides but I don't want to join yet another discord just yet.

So I'm just watching a run and making my own notes!

(PS the video guides look good but it's hard for my ADHD brain to focus on them, that's why I'm looking for written notes)

Oh wow, Neil Newbon who plays Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3 was James the waiter in the classic Goodness Gracious Me sketch, "going for an english".

Just re-read this.

Regulators of implanted medical technology should be demanding that all source code, design docs and other technical material be lodged in escrow.

If the company ceases to make support available, make it all public.

It's one thing for movies or TV shows or video games to disappear "into the vault", but prioritising protection of completely unused IP rights over the the health and wellbeing of patients is criminal.

Starting to think that maybe I could speedrun RE2? Sure the top ranks are two hours shorter than this, but getting on the leaderboard at all would be pretty cool.

Decided that I'm gonna take a name that is Norse, but also common in Britain, as my middle name; "Astrid" 💜

I've been thinking a lot about changing my surname too as I really don't like my current one and I don't feel any attachment to it.

I've thought about something Nordic/Viking, as that is part of my cultural heritage (growing up in the part of Britain that was Danelaw centuries ago) but ugh the way that the right has co-opted a lot of Norse stuff is making me conflicted.

Oh boy. The protocol is absolutely insane. RPC galore, responses are only partially typed. The docs are pretty much useless.

But the "funniest" part is this: there's no privacy. And I don't mean missing DMs.

It's here! Cannot wait to read @JoeStrike's Furry Planet in full.

The wildest part is seeing my own book referenced in the first chapter!

Going to visit my Dad this weekend to tell him that I'm trans and that I'm going to be changing my name.

Then on Monday I'm submitting all the paper work to change my name. 💜🏳️‍⚧️

Decided to play Leon B after dinner and another A ranking! :3

Koudelka, an RPG set in Wales, has healing potions that use red wine as a base. This is so incrediblely of the time (monks serving medicinal herbs in wine, and also tonic wines such as Buckfast) and kinda realistic that I had to take a screenshot.
