It's been almost a year since I first set up my bat in VR, and learned I can turn mirror reflections off (for PC users, sorry Quest standalone) and GOD IT'S REALLY EUPHORIC AAAAAAAAAAAA
I'd be like "maybe there's something to this whole vampire thing" but you don't accidentally doodle something once and go through rapid identity euphoria feelings and still have the fangs and suchlike on your main identity a year and a half later.
It does give sorting out Full Body Tracking a few extra steps though (I have the ability to appear in mirrors on a toggle 'cus sometimes it's useful, but the default state is off)

After spending ages looking for a good DAB radio I decided to get the best rated one that was in my budget; a Pure Evoke-2 for £25!
It feels kinda funny that the best ones are those that have been around for over twenty years, lol

Thankfully it's not lung cancer; I've already been screened for that when I had a panic attack a couple of years ago, it's sort of like my lungs are more sensitive than they used to be.
The really insidious thing about nicotine is you can go years without it and still get the cravings.

I've had issues with my lungs for a while since I stopped smoking years ago, somewhat exacerbated from my first Covid infection back at the start of the pandemic, but after this weekend it's clear that if I do smoke I end up with chest pains for a good while afterwards. I need to be aware of that.
Mental note: You've quit smoking; don't even do it as a "social" thing. You can probably get away with one cig every now and then but don't try and smoke a pack anymore.

I don't want to outsource my thinking to a machine.
I don't want "art" averaged from some aggregation of actual artists' work.
I can write my own fucking emails.
I can write my own fucking code and design my own fucking games.
And I want art that comes from the brains of human artists. Who feel and whose soul goes into their work.
All this stuff is clever and I am sure there are uses for it but the things that are actually valuable in life can't be reduced to a fucking prompt.
