@AudreyJune for the record, i absolutely love Vivaldi's Four Seasons

if you want something with stronger violin play and a slightly darker vibe, check out the variant composed by Max Richter:

it's so beautiful tbh ; _ ;

@scarly @AudreyJune Oh I love Max Richter and I love Four Seasons (I played it many years ago in orchestra in school!). Will have to check this out.

The Max Richter I could pretty much put on repeat is "The Trees" (complete with Tilda Swinton narration).
@scarly @AudreyJune Wow, I've only listened to a few minutes of this and it's freakin' fabulous. It's very Max Richter. He has a certain something, I wouldn't really call it darker so much as a sort of beautiful, yearning melancholy. I'll have to save most of this for work tomorrow, will need it =_=

@feathers @feathers @AudreyJune tbh, i tend to consider yearning, beautiful melancholy to be what darkness is. at least in my culture/background - darkness is often beautiful, it's not some dangerous or looming thing. ill make a leap and guess that you equate darkness = evil. this... isn't a universal value.

@scarly @AudreyJune Darkness is definitely not evil for me, it's just... different from this. I don't know, it's too early in the morning for me to put good words to it, will try again later.
