running smbd on interactive doesn't even show windows even attempting to connect to it

@mhurron i already tried enabling smb1 and disabling 2/3 and that didn't help

@mhurron i don't know what encryption the samba server on ubuntu uses. i update packages every so often.

@masklayer yeah, i know. windows 10 says the host doesn't exist, but can ping it fine. other clients can connect to samba like they've been doing for ages just fine. it's windows 10's fault here

the only thing that upsets me on windows 10 so far is i can't SMB into my home server anymore

so i need to figure out a new way to do file sharing there

so i just got bash on windows 10

and i'm gonna try installing the devolpment environment for mastodon to try doing scss stuff
