@squirrel @atinyfairy I need this in my life, thank you! <3 🦆
Here's my childhood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CssHwRxq1KQ&index=3&list=PL260055AA68051FD1
@atinyfairy I used to play Gunbound (Because Worms) I didn't know it is still up :O
@atinyfairy True, if you think about it, it was part of the experience. We worked with limitations but those limitations shaped us. . It also made us appreciate things more. Now you can go to Spotify and listen to all the music you want but before I had to leave my computer on overnight to download demos or even a single song. That's why a lot of people used download managers. I feel like the Internet was less commercial and more DIY. People loved to build websites and make content.
@atinyfairy That's my aesthetic too and I can't get over that Imac G3 in the trailer because I have the very same model and I adore it! I adore Imac G3s, it was my dream computer that I didn't have until much much much later. Mac. Also, Mac OS 9 is such a cool OS.
@atinyfairy Me too, it takes me back to the time we got Internet at home (I think 1998-1999) and... I really missed those times and that kind of Internet, simpler times... Searching the Internet before Google with MSN, Altavista, Excite, downloading Sega Megadrive / Genesis roms, forums, IRC, IM (Windows/MSN messenger, ICQ, etc) discovering about Linux. Joining geocities, Lycos, those ISP cds with demos... I can go on forever :). The only thing I won't miss is the speed and the dialers.
oh hello there 1999 nice to see you again

@atinyfairy OMG! This is so cool! thank you for sharing it or else I'd not have found it <3! I love those Mac OS 9 vibes and I have that same Imac g3 model!
I just tried Endorfun for the first time. It's a cool puzzle game that I always wa(I feel joyful now)nted to try. It has a soundtrack with subliminal messages that are su(I love being alive)pposed to make you feel be(I love the world and it loves me)tter, hence the name but I don't think they had any effect on me.
Rediscovering old shareware discs from my childhood! I can't believe someone uploaded them to the Internet! :O they don't have all of them though. There was this really cool magazine called OK PC that came with a lot of shareware games that I can't find. One was a painting program, there was a basketball game where you would control the ball with the mouse and you had to score and another one where you had to bottle feed babies. If I could just find those games, I'd review them on Youtube or sth
@Violet Same thing here but with ducks :).
@Mallabori @Asriel Damne :/. Kiun modelon de Imac vi havas?
