i was watching a History of Music video which has examples of well-known songs throughout history (up to 2017)

i didn't like (or even recognise) anything past 2000 except Gangnam Style and that song about radioactive dragons

i wonder if it's just me getting old and if the generation after mine will feel the same about current popular music as i do about the one from the 80s

@kiilas eh, all genres of music from all eras are like, 90% crap

the "music was better in the past" thing is just survivor bias, people only remember and pass on the good stuff
