i want to mod my pocketchip to make it less standard but idk what to do with it and electronics cost money

like i guess built in audio would be nice

@squirrel built-in audio is apparently really easy and cheap to add to it

GPS might be interesting but the modules are pricey

Chucking some EL wire in the back to make it look cool might be nice

@troubleMoney the problem is that anything in module/kit form i want to buy would have to be imported

@squirrel with the speaker mod I think the only thing you'd need to get hold of is a 3W amplifier, the rest can be salvaged from other gear

@squirrel I think the guide on the website is for PAM8403 modules, so that's probably the thing to look for

Don't suppose aliexpress is any good for your neck of the woods? They seem fairly plentiful on there

@troubleMoney Sure if I wanna wait 2 months to see if I'll get the order or if I should try ordering again and waiting another 2 months

@troubleMoney well i found a single supplier i could buy some stuff from, bought the audio amp, plus an arduino nano and a level converter so i can use some ESP modules i bought a long time ago, instead of dividing between several suppliers

hopefully everything gets here
