also have a much lower quality hand mini dv cam which i thought was busted but running the cleaner tape again seems to have solved it https://computerfairi.es/media/wEzWemsDsyrkes_T9Bs
@squirrel oh yeah, forgot the miniDV cameras all used firewire
well, *crosses fingers that all that stuff finds itself coming your way*
@troubleMoney naw what i really want is a couple tripods now
and a small FireWire cable both ways so i can connect this up to my laptop
sadly i think my iMac's FireWire ports are busted :(
and the PCI card one i have won't fit my pc (and i think i gave it away)
