@realmaxkeeble he's someone who stands right next to you at the direct next urinal despite all the others being free and happens to 'accidentally' make physical contact because of his 'wide stance', that's what he is
in my search to besticker my purse rack, i looked for some smaller pokemon stickers and then realized the best option for "includes my favs" is a sticker collection with over a thousand stickers because it has a sticker for every single pokemon (including all forms) from kanto to alola
i have never held such power before
i mean the really dodgy part of the whole fic concept
however if you really want Amon to drop whatever she is doing and deliver a 45 minute long sermon, ask her thoughts on having breasts now and having to account for a pair of double ds in her daily life
ALMOST AS BAD AS BEING OPPRESSED BY BENDERS. TOTALLY THROWN OFF HER BALANCE! OH AND THE BACK PAIN, TOO -
i mean the really dodgy part of the whole fic concept
is that amon gets sent back as a woman, basically told "be more like your mom instead of your dad this time, you insufferable fuckstick"
raving bisexual Lieu Tien is absolutely fine with this
Amon, not so much, given the number of BEING A WOMAN SUCKS ACTUALLY. moments in the storyline, starting with "ok i know i'm here to not punch and not take people's bending away but i swear to fuck if that motherfucker calls me 'sweetie' one more time"
"harp," i hear the negative three of you who might be listening sigh in exasperation, "are you really telling me that you planned out an entire fic where the plot is just Amon Learns What Allyship Actually Is?"
and the answer is: no, there's also plenty of making out with the Lieutenant as well okay??? that's two whole things!!!
i am terrified that if i keep writing it, someone's gonna comment "wow, the author is deffo a white girl stepping a character through her own realizations that you cannot talk over or talk for a minority community but instead must support them as they wish to be supported",
and then i'll just have to resort to pocket sand or a cloud of ink or something in sheer terror at being so effortlessly clocked
i was reminded of that LoK fic i started yonks ago where shameless leiumon was inserted into a very strange premise where amon was kicked back by the spirits all "go try to unfuck some of the fuck you did, you stupid dumbfuck", because your lover being sent back from the dead several years after death in a new body and very confused about it is obviously good stupid ship fodder right?
but uhhh...
i got myself a present of the vaporwave flowers i mean hydrangea corsage to celebrate finally finishing shadowbringers and y'all
look at this
it perfectly mirrors the caller's sleeve fading from pink to blue, as i have obnoxiously dyed it pink awhile ago
I'm A Fuckin Genius. #ffxiv
So apparently there was a major Aztec holiday where for a week every eight years they would make tamales with no filling and no spices in order to not overwork the maize
this description (which is from wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamale#Aztecs) makes me think they had a holiday where they just gave the corn a week off
it's literally at the bottom of every part of the site y'all
take care and be wise
but taking care and being wise also means knowing how settlements work under united states law.
i'm not going to say businesses don't interfere with settlements against them being paid out - they absolutely do. but the key word there is INTERFERE. it is a key part of jurisprudence that the company who did wrong does not get to hand out settlements to people to compensate for damages they caused.
@roxy@snouts.online it's a lot more likely that someone will try to fraudulently claim your payout. after all, addresses and names and social security numbers have already been leaked, and claiming other people's tax returns is a pretty common scam that happens (or at least gets attempted)
by all means be wise and careful with your data to your own individual comfort, but also know what's up and *who* you're handing your data to as part of that decision
@roxy@snouts.online if it is useful information, the site is explicitly and emphatically *not* run by equifax. it's run by the settlement - it's a branch of the court case, essentially.
it's valid to go "i don't trust them either", but the settlement is an explicitly different entity from equifax, working in explicit opposition to their corporate interests, as demanded by law from the ruling. it's an agent of the court, not of the company.
