sucrets help a lot, as do those sprays that numb the back of your throat, though they're sadly very temporary

my usual go-to is milkshakes - drinking something thick and really cold helps the inflammation a lot! milk also kinda clings so the cold 'stays'.

honestly - taking some anti-inflammatories and strapping a coldpack to your neck might help too!

1. develop a party mix kind of like chex mix, but incorporating wasabi peas and crunched up dry instant ramen noodles, nicely coated in some soy-sauce heavy seasoning
