@aaronsgiles I for one would be pretty happy with OPL (as a DOS diehard, heh).
@aaronsgiles Update: My test case game was Indiana Jones Desktop Adventures, since i saw that it was supported. Strangely it would not start without first installing a MIDI device, as Bodhi lacks one out of box (DREAMM was satisfied with MT32 ROMs at least), but beyond some keyboard repeat delay errors that I'm fairly sure were in the original game, I feel like it worked 100% fine.
@aaronsgiles Successfully installed and run on Bodhi Linux, on a 2017 Lenovo Ideapad, having only needed to install SDL2. Haven't installed any games for it yet but I'm about to.

@aaronsgiles Maybe it's just the DOS die-hard in me, but I find it difficult to use a "programming" font without serifs. Rather enjoy using Iosevka Curly Slab for that reason - if I'm not using some replica of the old IBM BIOS font.
I'd rather do something and make a mistake than be frightened into doing nothing. That's the problem back home. Folks have been conned into thinking they can't change the world. Have to accept what is. I'll tell you something, my friends, the world is changing every day. The only question is, who's doing it?
