a friend of mine and i were talking about the gorgeous animations in Lands of Lore, and he casually mentioned it was all by Westood artist Rick Parks.
parks tragically passed away from leukemia at a very young age, and we were deprived of seeing how his #painting would develop over the next few decades.
mercifully, the amiga graphics archive preserved some of rick's work here - it is the finest photorealism i've ever seen painted on a computer.
*these are painted with a palette of 16 colours*
i'm speechless.

Suddenly thinking about the time an Evidence Custodian gave a talk in front of my high school forensic science class. When he started Q&A, I asked him what the weirdest thing was he'd ever had to admit as evidence.
"An entire taxidermized crocodile."
He did not elaborate about why it was evidence.
@mavica_again i used to be a real stickler for necrobumps but past a certain point i kinda stopped caring - as long as the bumper's post wasn't something like "hey lol is tehre any update to this project???"
