I'll explore the tablet features tomorrow, just signing off with a bit of Solitaire π
I've been down a rabbit hole the last couple of weeks with Apple's ancient Font Editor 2.0 (1984), the first font editor I ever used on a Mac. This is the pre-PostScript era of bitmap fonts like Chicago, Geneva, and New York. I wound up making a user guide and a video demo, which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/rOwzfaTU0XA?si=QDwZDFvE8pl9-9Kq
Seeing the furries moving their IMs to a different IM thing and I'm at once nostalgic for Trillian over dial-up and also quietly astonished that we still basically need Trillian, the basic problem of instant messaging being that all your friends are on different services is still the same problem here in 2024
can you help me find an #amiga #ftp client and #tcp #bbs client that works on a 68020 system
ATC crashes, AmiFTP needs classact (i have MUI installed, so i kinda wanted not to have to install classact as well but that's just me being petty) and rnoxfer needs 8mb ram (impossible with PCMCIA)
it's impossible to use an #amiga system without talking to other #users i find, and often when i try i get a worse welcome than the #linux community telling me to just #look it up, please #prove me wrong
@lunarloony used to have a running joke at one of my discords about that - every time someone asks why the pride flag is still up, the pride flag stays up another month. β
Update: It turns out that the interference from a nearby tesla coil is capable of registering keypresses on its own. #speczilla #emfcamp #chuntey

@PlayHistory It's quite interesting how *wildly different* these editions are from the original games, too! I've never played CivNet, but Sole Survivor _almost_ resembles a modern Battle Royale game, in which each player controls one unit that can upgrade into progressively bigger units, and SimCity 2000 NE introduces a whole mechanic requiring each player in a game session to buy parcels of land on the map before they can build on it, and the land can change hands later on as I recall.
