@aaronsgiles Yikes, didn't realize this was a thing, let alone that it could be turned off - have done so now though. Thank you for calling attention to it.
This is a prime example of a "feature" that I'm sure someone thought was a brilliant idea, but actually gets in the way of normal use and is highly annoying.
For example, I'm copying/pasting a bunch of CRCs, and some of them apparently look like dates, so whenever I copy one that looks like that, I get a "helpful" popup suggesting that I create an Outlook appointment. ππ
Definitely should not be on by default.
@winampskins Hah - cute shuffle button. =P
https://netizen.club/~wildweasel/updates/2024-07-25.html - time again for another Golfshrine Acquisitions Update, this time featuring inadvisable amounts of Jack Nicklaus, Beavis and Butt-Head, and a game designed for a DVD player.
@NanoRaptor Figures and artifacts from Norse mythology. I'm typing this from Brynhildr, my gaming rig; Yggdrasil exists as the hard drive of a media server (Mimisbrunnr is the server itself), got a 2013 Mac Pro named Brokkr, and my personal favorites are Naglfar (my G3 blue-and-white) and Idunn (my Mac Plus).
Oh, and Gjallarhorn, a laptop named entirely because its beeper is *absurdly loud*.
Shoe it All! got a store page
"Shoe it All is a multilinear physics-based adventure game where you rebel against the world with the help of a SWING and SHOES!"
@mydadisdracula "This is the back of my son's car!" πβ
@felsqualle I believe this is the same scientific principle as compression and expansion of air affecting its temperature. Kitty is more spread out, therefore, kitty temperature lowers.
Though now I'm imagining a cat-powered air conditioner.
@moshboy ah yes. Dick Nickem.
