Soviet linguist Yuri Knorozov was instrumental in deciphering Mayan script. His whole life he tried to be co-credited with his cat Asya but his editors always refused. In 2012, the Mexicans honored him with a monument that included his beloved cat.

@micheal It's weird as hell! Ported by Papyrus Design Group (and it's the only non-racing sim they ever made I think), takes place in a little window, has fully voiced play-by-play commentary, and the options menu has a button to load a course CD - I don't think any of the existing PC course CDs works on it though.
Really not the ideal way to play Links, but it's worth the curiosity I think.

@gifsbot Ahhh, the screenshot of what would become Laser Lords on the CD-i. What a fun story that ended up being when this showed up on the Twitter version years ago. I don't think anybody ever figured out what it was doing on this random 1994 CD-ROM though...
