Jon the Programmer's Squinky Tennis! An Easter egg game found hidden in several different Game Gear games published in the 90s by CodeMasters. I've been curious about this game since I was about 13 as you can't play it unless you have two GGs and a link cable. And there were no videos online anywhere of it. I finally gave up waiting and made my own video

I really liked the SNES game series Top Gear (aka Top Racer in places where TG might mean something else). It's a solid arcade racer with excellent music.

But the artwork has always stood out to me, and over the years I realized it's not unique to these game. But I'm not 100% sure what it is though. I've been trying to collect other example of its use and recently got this SB Live X-Gamer.

Based on the Top Gear II box I think the original is a painting. And it's of a real car, a 1984 Corvette GTP.

But I can't find any information about the artwork. I'm wondering if it was something that was common to license or really anything about it.

VisiCorp Visi On operating system homebrew progress report: I finally figured out the main loop for the application. I still need to find out how the syscalls "create application" and "define window" work. I still have no idea how to draw in the window, how to get mouse coordinates (only click or menu events), how to create on-screen buttons, or access file systems. I can beep for you, though.

This might be the beginning of the first-ever third-party program for Visi On, and the first program for Visi On in the last 40 years or so.

Here's my proposed rules to fix major league baseball:
1: a player can only play for a team if they were born in said teams city or have been resident for at least 10 years before signing
2:player salaries by dollar amount are out, player salaries by 1% increments of parent corporations total revenue are in, no player makes less than 1% of the parent companies total revenue a year
3: the immediate establishment of teams in at least 4 other countries in south and central America #mlb #baseball
