Apple put up applications to get a Vision devkit yesterday.

This is the error message I get if I try to put in an application. I interpret it as meaning that because I don't have a subscription to the Apple Developer Program, I can't apply for the Vision devkit. The Apple Developer Program costs $100/year.

So in other words if you want to release an app for Vision you have to pay $100 to *apply* for the *opportunity* to pay $3500 for development hardware.

So, real talk: why does GameCenter CX gets so little recognition as one of the most important transmission on games ever? Considering it's been going on for 20 years, I wonder almost no one has recognized how it predated so many current trends: retrogame mania, nostalgia, let's play, how we talk about retro games, etc
