a friend of mine and i were talking about the gorgeous animations in Lands of Lore, and he casually mentioned it was all by Westood artist Rick Parks.
parks tragically passed away from leukemia at a very young age, and we were deprived of seeing how his #painting would develop over the next few decades.
mercifully, the amiga graphics archive preserved some of rick's work here - it is the finest photorealism i've ever seen painted on a computer.

i'm speechless.

"An entire taxidermized crocodile."
He did not elaborate about why it was evidence.
