minecraft versions
currently conflicted between playing vanilla 1.14 or modded 1.12
I've been playing vanilla 1.14 - it looks so much better, and has so many additions over 1.12 that I just really like.
But I miss lots of things - I miss:
• having more than a couple of types of ores
• lots of interesting devices to construct
• a minimap.
idk what to do, really.
And I'm not really sure which modpack I should play

There's modded 1.14 through fabric, which is essentially the modding platform for this version. There's definitely not as many mods, but there is more compatibility between mods imo
minecraft versions
@crongmcdongle a few of the mods that I'd really want to have aren't available (although I guess minimaps and gravestones are available, so that's an option)
