and finally lands on "intentionally confusing", when they become the witch
in the au, it goes more like:

trans woman?

and lands on genderqueer
for wraith they were declared a 3rd gender at birth due to being intersex, and stuck around there until they forgot what gender was and have been genderless ever since. in the au they've got the messy experience that intersex people tend to face as a kid, and pretty much as soon as they figure out they have the option to be agender they jump to that and never leave
the only real difference is pronouns, he/him for canon, they/them for au

ive talked about haven's gender before but his trajectory in canon is cis man -> "i live with two genderless shapeshifters who cares" flavored nonbinary, and in the au it's basically the same just without the shapeshifting part
