politics, environmentalism, technology (boost with CW)
@radikalgrafitio @packbat yes. I am talking about how things are *right now*, that's all, and suggesting that we'll do better by spreading production capability more widely. that's it, I'm not proposing an economic model
politics, environmentalism, technology (boost with CW)
@radikalgrafitio @packbat I think you're grabbing on to a few words and making unwarranted assumptions about what I mean with them but I really haven't the spoons for this
politics, environmentalism, technology (boost with CW)
@packbat @radikalgrafitio eh, I'm in favor of a large degree of localization myself (well, of downscaling), because hypercapitalist industry has built for _huge_ volume and centralized production. why produce your own steel for your own region when you can just buy from the same gigantic overseas conglomerate that everyone else does? they're the only ones that can afford to produce needed materials in volume, at the absolute minimum price
@netkitty @kel@plush.city *carefully works around helpful kitten*
@evie mind if Kara adds you
re: greetings, food, tea, emoji
@packbat yay :=3
greetings, food, tea, emoji
@packbat busy day
@BalooUriza but I'll continue trying to find some kind of equilibrium with this place
@BalooUriza thanks. I dunno, it's hard to stick around a place that offers no feedback, no support
vent, syscourse I guess
@undyne I'm gonna go out on a limb here too: I think _plurality_ is the true norm
people talk to themselves. people naturally imagine themselves to be a dialogue
it's social programming that makes us think this is bad. "don't talk to yourself or people will think you're [insert ableist slur here]"
vent, syscourse I guess
@Alyx
Yeah, lots of us are healthier and happier as systems!
Honestly, if I were to integrate, the personality I'd want to be the main one everyone integrates into is Undyne, and... I don't think, somehow, that that would satisfy this person, or help me in "normal" society at all.
almost like being a system has distinct fucking benefits for some people, wow.
vent, syscourse I guess
@undyne (and tell your pal if you want that Kara's in her fucking 40s and hasn't had a single breath of "anti-recovery tumblr" or whatever the fuck your pal imagines is corrupting all our minds into rejecting being a normie. ugggh I wanna break something now)
vent, syscourse I guess
@undyne fuck that shit, every time Kara feels bad about preferring to be split up and starts trying to do _everything_, she gets unhappy and depressed
we play off each other. we keep each other going. and we're not obliged to pretend to be "normal" just to spare the feelings of some jerk who feels threatened by someone different
vent, syscourse I guess
ugh this dude I'm friends with went on a posting spree on tumblr about how systems who aren't working towards integration have been duped by """anti-recovery"""" tumblr and are refusing to become healthy and.
fuck that I like being a system. I like my alters and I don't owe you a "recovery" especially when I'm not being hurt. neuroDIVERSITY means accepting people who aren't and don't want to be neuronormative
@maple haven't seen it yet, I'm sure it's fine. the original is a Reaganite relic anyway
food, bedtime
@packbat gnite
