any recommendations for a cheapish, compact dedicated digital camera? requirements ain't strict. should have an uncomplicated feature set and ux, and be in a smallish package. a decent optical zoom a definite plus

food

one day I'll get Kara / Chara to stop stuffing themselves with junk food when they get depressed, and eat some damn oats and apples instead

For years I saw this car in my neighborhood, assuming its owner simply attached some pre-printed ornamental foil.

Then one day recently, I saw this young lady squatting in front of it, edding marker in hand, carefully adding line for line.

And I realized: the whole sprawling floral madness of sea-horses, algae and jellyfish is completely handmade!

Kudos, unknown neighbor – this is what determination looks like.

ok third time

what's the least painful way to get some kind of app running on

I am vaguely trying to imagine a display technology involving colonial phosphorescent bacteria

how would that even woooork

re: Asking for help, boosts ok

I'm still about $300 short on my rent this month, and haven't had any luck finding a roommate just yet.

I super appreciate everybody who's boosted or donated to help me out, yall are amazing, thank you so much. <3

I figure if I repeat the question enough days, I might get an answer in a month maybe

what would be the most valuable use of low-tech for the people. got major choice paralysis between options

home serum monitoring of hormones is a possibility

food analysis? like, getting nutritional values for foodstuffs?

low-tech atmospheric CO2 monitoring?

ok switching to the "mastodon light" theme seems to give more reliable behavior

why would a theme make the behavior of the website different

bleh I like the look of this particular theme on computerfairi.es but I can't tell if my favorites are sticking or not

honestly, I should probably get on Twitter. my chances of getting answers to technical questions would be something a bit more than zero, there
