@relsqui that was just a secondary idea.

I think that giving a child a common name could help obfuscate their personal history, making it easier for them if they want to drop off the radar for themselves.

I've got a bit of a common name, and I'm actually glad for that. Makes tracking me down harder for someone who would want to do that.

@relsqui I would do it to help anonymize my child.

My plan is, if I ever have a child, to give them a painfully common, but gender neutral name. (Like Alex or Morgan)

Then, when they're old enough, give them the opportunity to choose their own name. Go through with the legal part for them, too, if they like.

Too many children are getting hosted on pedestals for scrutiny under the state and everyone else of social media record they can even speak.

fairly horny

@Fennel@snouts.online I second this, and also all my partners are out of town.

hey pdx people!

the portland chapter of Tech Workers Coalition is meeting at 6pm this monday feb 11 at Cider Riot! come join us to talk about organizing the industry ✊ :ancomheart:

@pixl@snouts.online I think you've got it mostly right, except the one on the right has "M" on it to indicate that, after eating Most of a pizza, it's the bathroom to use for when you need to take a Monster Shit.

@fluffy my city has something like that, but with the bonus that the city doesn't actually have enough shelter beds, and so there's not actually anything they can do.

The signs make people feel well and fuzzy though, so that's nice.

@schestowitz on, don't you see, it's actually tax *avoidance* and that's legal, because they paid tax accountants millions of dollars to find the loopholes

@HonorableThief@snouts.online we will make certain you are aware the very moment we have become displeased.

@gen@berries.space I think the way it goes is that you'll be extremely drowsy, but completely unable to sleep.

@pepsiwolf hi, I'm a cat that's out to *break all the rules*

And knock things off shelves. Like capitalism. That's going straight onto the floor.

@jzs42069@nutt.church I had a passenger that was going to a party once dressed like a flapper from the twenties.

Obviously, I had to play Caravan Palace for them.

@chillallmen@witches.live I spent several days this week convinced that the toblerone chocolate bar might not exist, because I couldn't find one to buy at any store I went to.

I finally found one and bought one, but it's gone again so I might have hallucinated it.

@MrJimmy

*knocks some cans into the floor*

Probably that much.

@benaiah@pdx.social my friend that made duct tape wallets was me.

I had a tri-fold (or maybe it was a quad-fold) wallet that I used for around 4 or 5 years.

@silverspookgames I just bought Neofeud and I'm looking forward to playing through it.

@JohnBrownJr tell a capitalist there's enough vacant houses for every homeless person and they'll complain that this isn't fair to the people who own the houses.

Obviously, this indicates we lose wisdom as we age.

@girl what's a screenshot dunk?

Is it where you play basketball with a ball covered in screen printouts?
