On my end every developer option lists "permanent licence". The other tabs mostly 12-month.
Also if you look at that web export isn't free indeed (you get windows, mac and unbuntu, if you can get those set up right)
Web isn't even the worst one in price. No wonder I don't ever see GM web games.
@posit@chitter.xyz slight correction: the $99 version is permanent aside from some console export licences. Aside from that, yeah, the pricing is steep
(also, lord knows why web export is another $150 extra and so on. Hobbyists aren't going to pay that and I'm not convinced the kind of person who would have that money would consider GMS a worthy option)
I think I'm falling out with the thing a bit lately.

I'm think I know the answer, but how do/did you look on this with regard to subtooting? There wasn't any negativity with this, but what I did seems to be pretty much the same principle.
