Anyone know any good alternatives to twitch alerts by streamlabs? I prefarably want something that can run locally, I don't want to rely on a third-party service

if you hide a Sonic the Hedgehog rom inside an image, is that β€œimage seganography”

@Lenalia i feel like you don't need to worry about missing out and are just kinda expected to tune out conversations that aren't relevant to you and check back later

not like other platforms that give you an indicator for every conversation

@Lenalia i find that with irc and forums it's a lot easier to engage when you want to and you never feel like you're missing out

@elfi still doesn't help that our brain gets annoying about indicators and there's always a chance one of them will have a conversation we're interested in

@trysdyn unfortunately we can't mute all the channels in case they have conversations we're interested in

how do you deal with online communication platforms that are over 99% noise yet still in your face about indicators and notifications?

The body we were born in is only a suggestion - and a poor one at that.

50 years ago, Intel released the first commercially available microprocessor, the 4004. For the first time, a computer's entire CPU could be in a single IC package. It had all the computing power of a handheld calculator, but that too was revolutionary at the time. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_40
